AFH is a prestigious awards and online screening film fest with celebrity connections in Hollywood, California. Since 2013 AFH is dedicated to new filmmakers creating video/film content in all genres. This year is the first year we are open to all filmmakers. Submit your project and get a laurel for your filmmaking efforts. If selected your film will screen on this festival online site.

Rules & Terms:

Submissions:
We will consider the following submission types:
• Feature (Over 40 min)
• Short (Up to 40 min)
• Documentary Feature (Over 40 min)
• Documentary Short (Up to 40 min)
• Music Video
• Trailer
• Screenplay

PLEASE submit a poster jpg or screen capture with your entry and PLEASE list the key credits. Assume you are going to win and help us award you correctly! AFH is open minded to your creativity so many filmmakers will win laurels and award certificates.

You are entitled to enter as many films as you like during a two month festival. If an entry does not win it may be re-submit. We prefer online screeners for the judging process. YouTube or Vimeo links are welcome and we also accept DVDs.

Screenplays should be in PDF format
Project completion date is unrestricted for all AFH awards and online screenings.
Films must be in English or with English subtitles
AFH will not make your property available online outside of this Festival screening site
We accept partially completed films and screenplays.

Notification:
Accepted entries will receive an Official Acceptance notification laurel and after judging is completed, winners will receive a second email with their certificate.
After an entry has been selected and the filmmaker notified, the film will be listed on the festival Facebook site under Official Selections.
Winners will be posted on our Facebook site.
Winning films will only be screened on IndeVue if you grant us permission.
